Yes, I know I’ve disappeared off the face of the planet! I’m moving house this week so let’s just say things are a bit busy around here. I’ll be offline for a couple more weeks as apparently in my new area it takes twice as long to get broadband set up as it does in the rest of the country!
In the meantime, don’t forget to check out Sketchy Thursdays every Thursday for inspiration and the chance to win some fab prizes! The Studio also has new weekly challenges posted on a Sunday, so don’t miss them!
See ya soon xxx

Yes, I have a little secret. I’m not going to share it just yet though :-p (if you already know…shhh!)
This isn’t a secret:

Well, not any more, anyway! You can play along with this sketch at Sketchy Thursdays right now! You have until Wed., Jan. 20th, 10 p.m. (EST) to post your entry to Mr Linky on theb Sketchy Thursdays blog to be eligible to win this awesome prize!

This week’s sponsor is Sweet Scrap Deal, and Charlene has offered up the October Store Kit from Unity Stamp Co, {wonderful…you}. There are some great images in this set!

I’ll leave you with this:

The page I created for the sketch. Be sure to check out the other fabulously inspiring pages from the rest of the DT! Can’t wait to see your entries!

I can’t believe this week is coming to an end already! I guess having a couple of days in due to snow throws you out of whack.
Have you seen my little snowman?

This is the first time he’s seen this much snow last for this long. The snow we had last Feb was almost as deep as this but gone in a couple of days. Last year he was purely excited about it. This time, you can tell he is older and perhaps a little wiser as he’s starting to be more concerned about people being safe in the snow. He had a mini panic attack when Daddy took his car to the shops instead of mine, as it doesn’t handle the snow very well!
So, what do you do when you’re snowed in? Ummm, duh! Scrapbook! Here’s a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays to get you through a few hours!

You have until 10 p.m. (EST) on Wed. 1/13 to link up your entry to Mr. Linky in the left sidebar of the Sketchy Thursdays blog. Here is my take on it:

The challenge is being sponsored by Kelly from Keep In Touch who has GENEROUSLY donated two kits for one lucky winner this week. Here are some peeks at what is in each kit, but I SERIOUSLY suggest you click on the images/links to the kits and see what Kelly has in her shop. SERIOUSLY!!

Yep, time to say farewell to 2009 and welcome in 2010! Do you have big plans for tonight? I am staying in with my nearest and dearest to toast in the new year with a little glass of Champagne and some pigs-in-blankets!
Have you all got your list of resolutions at the ready? Here’s something you might want to add to the list: Join in over at Sketchy Thursdays!

And seeing as this could possibly your first layout for the new year, let’s make it a great one! If you do head over to Sketchy Thursdays, you might notice my layout is absent this time. Sorry, but I was suffereing with the lurgy as the deadline came and went! The rest of the fab DT sure have enough to keep you inspired, however!
Of course, there is a yummy prize to go with it!

Brought to you by:

Myers Imports is the the exclusive importer for a number of small family run companies in Europe. Our specialties range from hand-crafted vintage glass glitter, to detailed paper arts and hand crafted miniatures for scrapbooking, cards and indie crafts. The companies we represent are all small family run and have been in business for since before WWII. We seek out product that is not mass produced and where the “old” hand made way of creating the highest quality product is still regarded as the only way to do it.
Hook up your entry to the Mr. Linky in the left sidebar on the Sketchy Thursdays Blog for a chance to win the prize from Meyer Imports. We’ll need to see your entry before 10 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, January 6. Can’t wait to see what you create!

This is the final sketch before Christmas! Seriously? Christmas is this time next week?
This one is gonna be a quick, easy one (I hope). With the holiday season already in full swing and crashing down on us next week I’m sure you’ll appreciate Diana’s simple sketch!
Here’s what I made:

Be quick and head over to see what the rest of the DT made this week. I love ‘em all! There’s a fab kit from Scrapbook Kit Club.
