Watercolour Background
Hello girls
I am here today to make a background in watercolor that we can use on our scrapbook pages.
We’ll need watercolor pencils or paints, a sheet of watercolor paper (it has a heavier weight and is usually textured, making it more porous and prevents it being too soft soak), a soft brush, spray water, barbecue salt, cutouts that serve as a mask (could even be paper, diecuts or drawn freehand), and paper of your choice.

We put everything on the white sheet (including photo). We can fix the clippings (masks) with repositionable adhesive, but if you have not, no problem.

Start by splashing some water on the sheet of watercolor paper just to moisten and then paint around the cutouts.

If you use watercolor pencils, wet using the spray and the paint mixes.

With paper still damp, throw small amounts of salt .

You can do the same on every page. Do not come back and paint over the salt, right?

We leave to dry or use the heater.

Once dry, we remove all the salt and see how cool is that !!!!!

We highlight the ways in pen ...

... and still use the masks as part of the decor!

The splattered look was made with an old toothbrush using watercolor or acrylic paints and diluted them.

And there is the LO done! I wrote the journaling into a butterfly and I used black watercolor pencil to make some shadows ....
I hope you have enjoyed ....
