Design team call!

It’s that time again!!

What are we looking for?

In a nutshell, fresh talent! I’d like to recruit 7 talented, committed scrappers with a desire to have FUN! Following the success of the site over the last few months we are expanding! You will be joining our established DT, increasing the DT to 12 members. Your ability to take a good photograph or scan of your finished projects is almost as important as your scrapping talent. Initial appointments will be for 6 months (Feb 2010 -July 2010) with the possibility of extending your term.

What will be expected of you?

1.With the new additions to the DT we will be changing our schedule so that we now have a new challenge every Sunday. You will be required to produce 1 layout per fortnight on a “one week on, one week off” basis.
2. You will be expected to promote The Studio on your blog and online forums where permitted
3. You should post encouraging comments on participants’ blogs/galleries
4. You will assist with choosing a winner from the challenge entries
5. Have a regular presence in our community http://scrapbook101studio.ning.com/, actively participate in and start new discussions.

What’s in it for you?

1.The opportunity to be part of a DT and add the experience to your list of achievements
2.Access to the exclusive DT area of Scrapbook-101
3.Your own page on Scrapbook-101 (to include your bio, links to your website, and generally promote your scrappy endeavours)
4. Link to your personal blog from The Studio
5. The chance to get involved at the start of something BIG!
6. The DT have supplies provided by sponsors from time to time.
7. A small RAK from me if you are successful

The rules and how to apply (sorry, there must be rules!):

1. Include 3 JPEG images of 12×12 or 8.5×11
2. In addition to the previous three images you should make one 12×12 or 8.5×11 layout with an “about me” theme. It should include at least 2 different techniques. Include a JPEG image of the page (max. file size 500k) and write a tutorial for the layout. This one should be a previously unseen layout (each picture max. file size 500k). No work previously published online or in print will be accepted. Use this opportunity to showcase your talent and your personal style
3. Tell me a bit about yourself.
4. Tell us in 50 words why you belong on The Studio design team! Don’t be modest, let us know what makes you great!5. You may include details of online galleries where your work is displayed or design teams you currently belong to (or have previously belonged to). This is not essential and will not affect your application.
6. You must have a regularly updated blog – please include a link. You’ll get bonus points if you have The Studio Blinkie displayed there
 7. Email your 4 layouts, and relevant info to thestudio@scrapbook-101.com with “Design Team Call” in the subject line
