21st March Challenge!
It’s Sunday already and time for our next challenge!
Buttons and bows! Use either buttons or bows on your page – or both for extra ‘brownie points’!
Our DT girls have really outdone themselves this week! Amazing stuff, ladies! Here’s what they’ve created:
Elina Koutsouradi
This is a photo of me scrapping at Montpellier next to my friend Helena! I wanted to keep the design simple and attached two transparent buttons and a cute red ribbon bow for contrast and voila!!
Bianca Ribeiro
I love buttons and ribbons: I think it adds a special touch to the layout, brightness and finishing!
These are the Beatriz and Carolina playing at the park, moments that I don’t forget!
Lisa Saunders
Laura Johnson
Bows were perfect for a photo I had taken very recently – one of those things that seem so everyday and normal – but that one day will be gone in a flash when she no longer lets me do her hair – her very cute plaits!
As luck would have it, I had found a plastic template for a paper bow when going through my study the week before, so I used that to make a bow on the layout underneath the photograph and glued ribbon down the middle to pretty it up a little.
I chose to make two 3-d hearts and use 2 buttons on the layout to reinforce the ‘2′ theme. I was really pleased with how this turned out and can’t wait to see your pretty bows and buttons!
Tessa Buys
I LOVE buttons! I have thousands. Even though I use buttons all the time, I have a jar of clear buttons that get used only rarely. So, I challenged myself to use them. I was inspired by photos from a road trip my boys and I took last weekend – a rainy, icky, foggy, snowy, gray road trip.
I thought the clear buttons would make perfect raindrops and I love the result.
Rebekah Brumby
I finally got brave enough with the glimmer mists to give them ago. Not too bad for a first try, right? This is my new puppy who I collected yesterday. I took this photo when we first went to choose him. Look at him. So cute
The journalling reads ‘Connor and I took a drive to Radnage, Buckinghamshire to look at a litter of puppies. We just couldn’t ignore this look which said… Pick me!’. I expect this is a face you will see a lot of over the coming months.

To enter your layout for a chance of winning the March prize you need to upload a picture to your blog, gallery or the gallery here at the studio. Then post your link to Mr Linky in the sidebar! We’d love it if you came back and posted here too, but as long as Mr Linky has your link you’ll be in the running for the prizes! If you are struggling to upload for any reason then you can email me your layout and I will post it up for you. The march challenges need to be uploaded before 1 week after the last Sunday of the month, so this month you need to have them in by 4th April. The more challenges you enter during the month, the more chances you have to win the prize!
